Whitewater hydrospeed in Montanejos
Hydrospeed is an ideal activity for the most daring and for those who wish to experience the power of white water in first person. It involves descending the Mijares river in its section known as the chillapájaros canyon with the help of flotation elements called “hydro-sleds” or commonly known as “hydrospeed”.

Equipment required (provided by the company)

Hydrospeed board.
Full wetsuit, helmet and waistcoat.
Fins and footwear for propulsion.
The guided descent will allow us to enjoy the river rapids in complete safety with our qualified guides. “The Jungle”, “El Patriarca”, “El Cagarro”, “Ejaculation” and “Slide” are the suggestive names of the best rapids of the section we will be descending.

We will take fun photos during the descent which you will be able to download for free from our RRSS.

10.00 AM - 11.00 AM: Transport

Once you have signed the contract and paid the outstanding amount, we will give you the personal equipment consisting of full wetsuit, neoprene socks, hard-soled booties, fins, protections, waistcoat and helmet. You will be able to use the changing rooms and toilets. Once you are ready we will transfer you to the river in our vehicles.

The journey by car takes approximately 5 minutes.
Your belongings and dry clothes will be kept in the changing rooms.
When you arrive at the river, the Team Leader welcomes you and accompanies you to the start of the activity.

11.00 AM - 1.00 PM: Descent

Before entering the water, our Team Leader will give you a mini-course on how to use the equipment and a safety talk. We will enter the water and do a little “training” before starting the descent of the rapids.

1.00 AM - 1.300 PM: Return to base

Once the descent is finished, we will take you back to the base where you can return your equipment and change in the changing rooms. We have outdoor showers and cold drinks for sale. If you are hungry or thirsty, there is nothing better than booking a great meal in one of the restaurants or terraces of the village, ask us!

Minimum recommended age 16 years (unaccompanied minors must bring parental consent).
Know how to swim.
Not suffer from any illness or injury incompatible with the practice of this activity, especially those related to the heart, neck and back. Participants are obliged to inform the organisation of any possible incompatibility, allergies or phobias.
Not to be pregnant.
Not to be allergic to neoprene.

The price of the activity is 45€ per person. This price is adjusted to a minimum group of 5 people (in total), to cover the costs of the activity. If there are fewer of you, you can join other groups.

If there are no more people, it is possible to do the activity with smaller groups or even close the activity exclusively, but the price will be increased by a supplement to cover the minimum necessary expenses.
