Climbing Baptism in Montanejos

Enjoy with Máxima Aventura a climbing baptism in the incomparable natural park of Montanejos. We offer you an exciting activity of initiation to sport climbing in natural rock. Our instructor will prepare different routes for you to enjoy the thrills of climbing with the security of being in professional hands. We include all the necessary equipment.

This is an activity of initiation to sport climbing on natural rock. Our instructor will prepare the routes using the “top rope” or “pulley” system so that the rope always pulls you upwards and it is not possible to fall. This will give you the confidence to climb without fear of heights and explore your own limits.

DEPARTURE TIME We receive the groups at 10:00 a.m. (ask about the possibility of an afternoon shift).
ARRIVAL TIME Approximately at 13:30 pm.

In Máxima Aventura we are climbing professionals with years of experience and official qualifications of Sport Climbing Technician. We have the best liability insurance for our customers. We give you a free photographic report of your activity, which you can download from our Flickr page. This gift is not part of the contracted service and therefore is NOT RECLAIMABLE in case of loss or poor quality.

10.00 AM - 10.20 AM: Displacement

Once the contract is signed at the office and the outstanding amount is paid, we will go to the climbing area walking from our office or in our vehicles depending on which sector the instructor decides to go to.

The walking tour is approximately 20′.
Montanejos has multiple climbing sectors, which we will choose according to the time of the year, the level of the participants,…
Normally we do the activity in the initiation sector located in the Maimona ravine, just 500m from our office.

10.20 AM - 11.00 AM: We equip ourselves

Once we have arrived at the destination, we will hand out the personal equipment (climbing shoes, harness, helmet,…) and before we start climbing we will explain the basic safety rules for beginners.

11.00 AM - 1.00 PM: Climbing

The instructor will “mount” different easy grade routes for the participants and will belay them himself. The selection of the routes and their difficulties will depend on the level and physical condition of the participants. There are routes for all levels!

1 PM - 1.30 PM: Pick up

Once we pick up all the personal and collective equipment, we will return either walking or in vehicles to our office.

1.30 PM: End of the activity

At this point we will end the activity. The guides have to clean and collect the equipment. If you are hungry or thirsty, nothing better than booking a great meal in one of the restaurants or terraces of the village, ask us!

Minimum recommended age is 8 years old.
Minimum group size is 4 participants. For smaller groups a surcharge will be applied (consult before booking).
No illness or injury incompatible with the practice of this activity. It will be the obligation of the participants to inform the organization of any possible incompatibility, allergies or phobias.
Not to be pregnant.

The price of the activity is 35€ per participant and is based on the need for a minimum group of 4 people. In case of being less than 4, we will be able to join you with other participants at no additional cost.

It is possible to do the activity with smaller groups, but the price will be increased by a supplement that will cover the minimum necessary expenses (please consult).
